For as long as I can remember I have always hated my nose. The front view was okay but the protruding 'bump' from my side view was un-flattering. After watching far too many programs of Extreme Makeover I decided to take the plunge and do something about it.
I searched the internet and saw several sites which explained the procedure but did not show any results that I liked.
I then came across the site of Dr John Chaplin, Facial Plastic Surgeon. I was very impressed with the quality of the results shown in the portfolio page and I made an appointment to see John.
The consultation was at his office at Gillies Hospital and he instantly made me feel at ease and confident in his ability to achieve the results I wanted. We discussed all aspects of the process and I did not feel I was being rushed or pressured into surgery.
I consider myself very fortunate to have found the expert hands of John Chaplin. The whole process was easy and painless!
I now have a fantastic nose and constantly find myself admiring it in the mirror!!! This has made a considerable difference to not only my appearance but also to my confidence. My only regret is not having it done years earlier!

I would like to thank you very much for performing such a first class job on K's nose. He is now noticing such a difference with his breathing in particular. He swam 40m underwater at the Olympic Pool without any pain or problem as part of his badminton training. It is very noticeable that he is breathing through his nose now and he feels so much stronger in training. Cosmetically you also did a fantastic job, it was so subtle no-one really noticed apart from my husband and I which is great. His girlfriend was convinced he would never be the same again but she loved his nose as well!!
I recently recommended a lady to come and see you as she has had a broken nose and a bit of a drama surrounding it, she is feeling reassured knowing you have been highly recommended. I think you will be seeing her shortly.
