Dr Chaplin both consults and operates at Gillies Hospital at 160 Gillies Avenue in Epsom, Auckland. This is a short stay private hospital that has six consulting suites, three operating theatres and a 16 bed ward. Cosmetic surgery is performed here every week and the experienced staff both in the operating rooms and on the ward are well trained to care for all of your pre and post operative needs.
Relatives are able to visit whenever they like although access to the hospital in the late evenings is through a security panel.
If you stay the night Dr Chaplin will visit in the morning and arrange for your discharge and follow up. Breakfast will then be served. Once all of the post operative instructions are given you may leave the hospital with a driver. This is usually around 0930 or 1000 but the time can be extended if need be.
