Cosmetic Issues
Remaining deviation of the nose and too much cartilage from previous surgery (another surgeon)
Procedure:
This patient underwent a cosmetic rhinoplasty and septoplasty by another surgeon around 2 years ago. The operation was performed via an endonasal approach. Excessive nasal bone has been resected higher up on the dorsum, but too much cartilage left behind in the supratip region giving a Polly-beak deformity appearance. There is also remaining deviation of the nose . This otherwise attractive young woman was dissatisfied with her outcome. An external approach was used and the entire dorsum reconstructed and reshaped using hard and soft grafted material.
